Qualifying as an AFC Caregiver
To become an Adult Foster Care (AFC) caregiver with REGALIS HEALTH MA INC. in Massachusetts, you must meet specific requirements. Caregivers must be 18 years or older, reside with the care recipient, and provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs). Spouses and legal guardians are ineligible, and all caregivers must pass a background check. Our AFC program, funded by MassHealth, supports individuals needing assistance with ADLs in a family-like setting.
Overcoming Challenges in Caregiving
We understand the challenges caregivers face, such as training requirements and the burden of care. At REGALIS HEALTH MA INC., we offer training videos, resources, and respite care with alternate caregivers to help overcome these hurdles. Our goal is to provide the support needed to ensure the well-being of both the caregiver and the care recipient.
